Terms & Conditions

These terms follow Swedish consumer law, including the Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen 1990:932) and the Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen 2005:59).

1. General information

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through Connie Costas Gift Shop's online store. By placing an order you accept these terms. The store is operated in Sweden and these terms are governed by Swedish law.

For questions before, during or after a purchase, contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this page.

2. Prices and order confirmation

All prices are stated in the currency shown at checkout. Prices are subject to change between visits to the store, but the price shown when you place your order is the price that applies to your order.

After you place an order, we send an automatic order confirmation by email. The agreement between you and us is only formed once we have confirmed your order. If a product is sold out or incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment in full.

3. Payment

Payment is made through Shopify's checkout, which supports the payment methods shown at checkout. Card payments and other transactions are handled with encrypted connection (SSL/TLS) by the payment provider; we never store your card details.

4. Delivery

Delivery times and shipping options are shown at checkout. Products in stock are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days. If a delivery is delayed beyond 30 days from the order date, you as a consumer have the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen 1990:932).

5. Right of withdrawal — 14 days (distansavtalslagen)

Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen 2005:59) you as a consumer have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, notify us in writing before the 14-day period ends, using the contact details at the bottom of this page. The withdrawal period is met if you send your notice before it expires.

When you withdraw, you must return the products without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of notifying us. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, at the latest; we may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or you have shown proof of return. The refund covers the price of the goods; we do not refund any extra delivery cost you chose beyond our standard shipping.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken, nor to custom-made products.

6. Returns

Returned products must be unused, in the same condition as delivered, and in their original packaging. Contact us before returning anything so that we can give you the correct return address and instructions. Any return shipping cost is paid by you unless the product is faulty.

7. Complaints and defective goods — 3 years (konsumentköplagen)

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act you have the right to complain about a product that is defective for up to three years after you received it. The complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect, at the latest two months after discovery.

A defect existing at the time of delivery is covered even if it appears later. For valid complaints we repair or replace the product, or refund you, in accordance with the law.

8. Personal data (GDPR)

We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish Data Protection Act (2018:218). Your data is used to fulfil your order, deliver the products, and handle returns and complaints.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Disputes and the Consumer Agency (ARN)

We follow the Swedish Consumer Agency's (Konsumentverket) recommendations and resolve disputes in accordance with Swedish law. If we cannot agree, you as a consumer can bring the dispute free of charge to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se) or to a general court.

As an EU consumer you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as war, natural disasters, strikes, government decisions, or major disruptions to power or communications networks. In such cases we notify you and either fulfil the order when possible or cancel it with a full refund.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published on this page at the time you placed your order.
